URBAN OUTDOOR FURNITURE

Yes—and in most commercial projects, it’s more practical than people expect. I’d start by deciding whether you want a subtle nod to your brand or a clear visual statement. For color, powder-coated steel and aluminum are the easiest route: most manufacturers can match a RAL or Pantone reference, though very bright or metallic colors may have minimums, longer lead times, or slight sheen differences. Wood stains, concrete pigments, HPL panels, and outdoor fabrics can also be coordinated, but each material ages and holds color differently, so it’s worth approving a physical sample rather than relying on a screen proof. For logos, laser etching or engraving works well on metal seat ends, legs, and plaques; cast or CNC-cut logos feel more premium on heavy benches and planters. You can also use perforated logo patterns, upholstery embroidery or screen printing on cushions, and discreet cast-in marks on concrete. Fine detail is the main limitation: very thin lines and tiny text can disappear after finishing or get damaged by weather and cleaning. I’d simplify the logo for outdoor use, keep it above knee height where it won’t be scuffed, and use tamper-resistant fixings if theft or vandalism is a concern. Ask for a mock-up and a durability spec before you sign off. Check UV fade resistance, anti-graffiti coatings, warranty terms, minimum order quantities, and lead times—custom colors and logo tooling usually add a few weeks. For public-realm projects, make sure the customization doesn’t compromise drainage, accessibility, fire ratings, or maintenance access. Done right, branded outdoor furniture can look intentional and durable rather than like a bench with a sticker on it.
