It really depends on the piece. Most urban outdoor chairs are around 10–25 lb (5–11 kg), small café tables 20–50 lb (9–23 kg), and benches 50–150 lb (23–68 kg). Commercial-grade pieces and concrete or stone tables can be 150–400+ lb (68–181+ kg). So a chair or side table is usually an easy one-person move, but bulky benches, heavy umbrella bases, and concrete tables need two people or a dolly. Check for wheels, handles, and adjustable glides first. Empty planters and remove cushions to cut weight. For anything over about 50 lb or awkward to grip, use furniture sliders or a hand truck and lift with your legs. If you rearrange often, choose aluminum frames and modular pieces—they look urban but are much easier to shift.
How heavy is urban outdoor furniture to move when I rearrange my space?
