This visual test reveals if your measured dimensions actually work in practice. Remember to include space for doors to swing open and for plants or grills.
Finally, compare your measurements to furniture specifications. Look for depth, width, and height for each item. Pay attention to diagonal dimensions for corner pieces and to folded or stacked sizes if you need flexibility. When in doubt, choose furniture that is slightly smaller than your maximum space. That extra inch or two makes urban outdoor living feel open, not cramped.
