When you're planning a public space, a rooftop lounge, or a commercial patio, one of the first questions you'll ask is: "What is the lead time for this particular urban outdoor furniture set?" The answer isn't just a number—it's a roadmap of production, quality control, and logistics.
For this specific urban outdoor furniture collection—designed with powder-coated aluminum frames, UV-resistant synthetic wicker, and quick-dry foam cushions—the standard lead time is 28 to 45 days from order confirmation to factory gate. Here's the breakdown:
1. Raw Material Sourcing (5–7 days)
We maintain a rolling inventory of aluminum profiles and HDPE wicker. However, custom colors or fabric choices (e.g., Sunbrella® vs. standard outdoor polyester) may add 3–5 days for material procurement.
2. Production & Assembly (15–20 days)
Each set includes a 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, and a lounge chaise. Production involves CNC cutting, robotic welding, electrostatic powder coating, hand-weaving of wicker, and cushion sewing. Standard production is 18 days. For orders above 50 sets, we add 2–4 days due to batch curing times for the coating.
3. Quality Control (3–5 days)
Every piece undergoes a 72-hour salt spray test, load-bearing checks (up to 300 kg per seat), and UV fading simulation. We do not skip this step—it's why our furniture survives 10+ years in public environments.
4. Packing & Loading (2–3 days)
Items are wrapped in non-scratch PE foam, placed in heavy-duty export cartons, and then loaded into a 40HQ container. If you need flat-pack or knock-down options, add 2 days for hardware packing.
Shipping Time (Not Included in Lead Time)
Lead time ends at our factory in Vietnam. For ocean freight to Los Angeles: 12–16 days; to Rotterdam: 22–26 days; to Sydney: 10–12 days. Air freight is available but only recommended for sample sets (1–2 units).
Expedited Options
If your project deadline is tight, we offer a "Priority Lane" for an additional 8% surcharge. This reduces production to 14 days and QC to 2 days, bringing total lead time to 19–22 days. However, this is only available for standard colors (Graphite, Sand, and Forest Green) and non-custom cushion shapes.
Order Confirmation Process
Your lead time counter starts only after you approve the 3D proof and pay the 30% deposit. Please note that weekends and national holidays (e.g., Chinese New Year or Vietnam's Tet) pause the production clock.
Typical Real-World Example
A recent hotel project in Dubai ordered 25 sets on March 1st.
- March 2: Material check (all in stock)
- March 5 – March 22: Production
- March 23 – March 26: QC
- March 27 – March 28: Loading
- April 5: Arrival at Jebel Ali Port
Total on-site ready time: 36 days.
To get a precise lead time for your order, please provide:
- Quantity (sets)
- Cushion fabric (in-stock or custom)
- Frame color (standard RAL or custom)
- Destination port and shipping method
We recommend placing orders 45–60 days before your installation date to account for any port congestion or weather delays. For urgent projects, contact our sales engineer to check current factory slots—sometimes we have a 10-day gap if a previous order is postponed.
In short: 28–45 days is the honest, transparent answer for this set. No hidden delays. No vague promises. That's how we keep urban parks and rooftop bars on schedule.
