To be absolutely safe, daily inspections and the use of robust, industrial-grade materials (e.g., rust-proof aluminum, high-density polyethylene with rounded forms) are recommended. Parents should still supervise toddlers around any public furniture, but modern designs offer near-no-risk seating for fingers.
