The color is embedded within the fiber, offering exceptional resistance to fading from UV rays. It is breathable, mildew-resistant, and highly durable, though it requires a higher initial investment. Polyester fabrics are a cost-effective alternative. While often treated for water resistance and UV protection, the coatings can degrade over time, leading to faster color fading and reduced performance compared to solution-dyed options. Vinyl or mesh fabrics provide high durability and are completely waterproof, making them easy to clean. However, they can be less breathable, potentially trapping heat and moisture, and may feel less comfortable in direct sun.
