Modern synthetic rattan, made from polyethylene (PE) or resin wicker, is highly durable for outdoor use. It is UV-resistant, preventing fading, and waterproof, resisting rot and mildew. The material is woven over a sturdy aluminum or steel frame, offering good structural integrity.
