Placing a grill near your wooden outdoor furniture is not recommended and poses a significant fire hazard. A sudden gust of wind can also carry a spark much farther than you might expect. The safest practice is to position your grill in an open, well-ventilated area, far away from anything that can burn. Prioritizing this distance is the most effective way to protect your investment in your outdoor living space and, more importantly, to ensure the safety of your family and home. Always have a fire extinguisher or a connected garden hose readily accessible whenever you are grilling.
